Two weeks looking at how work actually moves through your business — where data gets re-keyed, where handoffs stall, where reports get rebuilt by hand, and which of it is worth automating first. You keep the report whether or not you hire us for anything after.

What we look at

We follow the real path of the work, not the org chart — the trail a job, an order, a claim, or a client takes from the first system it touches to the last. That’s usually where the same record gets photocopied or re-typed, where a schedule lives in a spreadsheet because the software of record won’t hold it, where details get entered twice, and where the Monday report gets rebuilt from three separate exports.

Re-keying. Every place the same number is entered into more than one system by hand — and what it costs in hours and errors.
Handoffs. Where work waits on a person to forward, approve, or notice something, and where those stalls are invisible until a customer calls.
Reporting. Which numbers are assembled by hand every week, how stale they are by the time a decision uses them, and what it would take to make them current on their own.
Systems that don’t talk. The core software, the second tool nobody likes, the spreadsheets, the shared drive — where the gaps between them are being bridged by memory and copy-paste.

Not included: building anything, software licenses, access remediation, ongoing support. The audit tells you what to build and what it’s worth; the build is a separate, separately-scoped engagement.
